Nick & Marta's wedding at Villa De Amore

About a week ago we met with Nick and Marta for their Janruary 3rd wedding. We hit it off immediately and they were happy to book us. Nick and Marta live in Hawaii and flew out here to have their wedding at beautiful Villa De Amore. They had about two weeks to get everything planned and organized for their wedding. And Janruary weddings are always tough because the weather is so unpredictable. So when we got up this morning and saw that it was raining, we thought, uh-oh, this could be a disaster.

Fortunately for Nick and Marta, the weather held off and they had a very successful wedding, rain free.

The cloud cover provided some awesome lighting and we got some rad photos of this amazing couple. Marta looked amazing and she was a complete natural in front of the camera.

Check out some of the great photos we got today! Congradulations guys. :)

Mike & Kelsey's engagement shoot in San Juan Capistrano

Today was such a blast. Mike, Kelsey, and myself headed down to San Juan Capistrano to do their engagement photos for their July 18th 2009 wedding at Pala Mesa. Once we got down to San Juan, we cruised around and found some cool spots. We tried to go into the Mission but got shut down. Apparently if you don't make a reservation before hand, it cost $75 to shoot photos inside. It was cool though, we walked around the Mission and found some cool spot. I love doing engagement shoots because it gives me a chance to really get to know my clients. We all had a lot of fun today and to top it off, they treated me to a fantastic dinner at Lucille's BBQ. Yum, it was soooooo good, thanks guys!

Here are some great photos from today.

Our last wedding of the year, Chu and Angie's wedding in Downtown Riverside

What can I say, it was our last wedding of the year and we went out with a bang. The ceremony took place at St. Catherine of Alexandria in Riverside and the reception took place at Crestmore Manor in Riverside.

We started out at Angie and Chu's place in Riverside and got some cool getting ready and pre bridal party photos. It was cool because their house is a block down from where we grew up and right accross the street from our old elementery school. In fact, Angie and my wife Tobie have been friends since grade school. So, we were excited to do a wedding with some old friends.

Congradulations Chu and Angie, we wish you guys the best.

Here are some of photos for your viewing pleasure. :)

Merry Christmas Everybody! Guess what I got for Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!

This Christmas was different than other years past. Usually I can guess what I am getting without even looking at the presents. So this year, Tobie says to me, I bet you don't know what I got you. I was like, oh...I know. She smiles and says, no you don't, with a smug tone in her voice. So, I thought for a second and said, yep, you got me the Livescribe, with absolute certainty! She says, nope!

So, Christmas morning arrives. It's about 8:30AM and everyone is trying to get me out of bed. So, I wander down stairs, grab some coffee and light a fire. Now that I am awake, we began our family gift exchange. Still thinking I got the live scribe, Tobie hands me my last gift. I look at it for a second and think, "hmm, this box is much smaller than the Livescribe box at Costco". So I open it up and what do I find, an Oakley Minute Machine aka. The Tank, with the red dial. I have wanted this watch for a couple years now. In fact, I was hoping to get it last Christmas. Thanks to our friend Mark Jackson, aka. "Oakley Mark" from Sweet Flowers - Weddings and Events for picking the watch up at the O store in Lake Forest! And thanks to my wifey for totally surprising me this year! :)

Lovin our lime green KISS Album

We are so pumped that we finally got a chance to order a lime green KISS Album! We take pride in our work and we love to showcase them in only the best products. Hands down, KISS Wedding Albums are the most beautiful albums on the market. These albums are hand made and constructed to perfection. The albums come in a handful of colors, one of which is lime green. We had a wedding recently where it was a perfect match with their colors.

We also ordered some matching "little kisses". These little books are an exact replica of the album but fit easily in your pocket or purse. The girls love these because they can store these little treasures in their purse and pull it out at work to show off their beautiful photos from their wedding.
