Monster Energy Supercross - Anaheim 2 - Throw back to the 80's

This past weekend was a lot of fun. It was time for the Monster Energy Supercross again but this time, they did an 80's throw back theme to acknowledge all the old school racers who made the sport what it is today. All the riders wore 80's gear and a lot of the fans dressed up as well.

If you have never been to Supercross, you should go. You never know who you might run into! I was lucky enough to hang out with Dominic Purcell from Fox's hit TV show Prison Break in the Monster Energy VIP booth!

Here are a few of my photos. You can view a complete list at my action sports website Jake Ashcraft Photo.

80's New Year 2008 party @ Wiens Cellars

Okay, all of you who didn't attend the Flashback to the 80's New Year's Eve Celebration @ Wiens Cellars missed out on THE party of the year! We almost missed out on it ourselves, but we changed our plans at the last minute and we didn't regret it! Amy did an awesome job in the banquet room with the 80's themed centerpieces, neon & black & white striped linens by Sweet Flowers, a candy table, and even star-shaped sunglasses and rubber bracelets...oh the memories! The M-80's tribute band was there with all of my favorite 80's music from Guns N Roses to The Cure...they had it all covered - there's no better dance music than the music of the 80's! The Forge provided Lobster, crab, prime rib...and the Oh so delicious Mashed Potato Martini Bar...yes you heard that right and it was YUMMY! In the barrell room was Club Vine where a DJ was spinning records of our favorite 80's music in a more club like setting...Mr. T was even there tearing up the dance floor! So....making plans for New Year's 2009? You definitely don't want to pass up next year's party.
